SDForum and FountainBlue to Present “State of the Clean Green Industry” on January 30, 2009

On January 30, 2009, from 8:30 am – 3:00 pm, SDForum and FountainBlue will present their second annual State of the Clean Green Industry event. Presenters at this event will include policymakers, business leaders, entrepreneurs, and investors.  Program highlights will include a keynote address by San Jose Mayor Chuck Reed and the following panel sessions:

Where's the Green in Clean?
This discussion will feature investors in clean energy organizations, including angels, VCs, and investment bankers. Panelists will be:

  • Kjerstin Barley – GE Commercial Finance
  • Steve Eichenlaub – Intel Capital
  • Nancy Pfund – CalCEF
  • Laurie Yoler – GrowthPoint Technology Partners

    Doing Well While Doing Good
    Panelists will discuss what their organization is doing internally to minimize their carbon footprint, and how their products and services are better serving their customers, how their efforts will stimulate innovation in clean technology. Panelists will include:

  • Annette Finsterbusch – Applied Ventures
  • John Skinner – Intel Corporation
  • Rich Lechner – IBM

    The program will be held at Sun Microsystems, 4030 George Sellon Circle, Santa Clara, CA.  The advance registration cost for the program is $65 for SDForum members and $85 for non-members (prices are higher for onsite registration).
