SDForum Presents “Energy Management: Load Shifting” on July 20 (Discount Available)

SDForumOn July 20, SDForum will present the next program in its Clean Tech Breakfast Series entitled Energy Management: Load Shifting.  A summary of this program is:

Load shifting – from peak to non-peak – provides benefits for both customers and utilities.  Customers reduce their average electricity bill while utilities improve the efficiency of their generating assets.  Two of the most successful clean tech companies, Comverge and EnerNOC, achieve load shifting benefits primarily through usage reduction.  Complementing this approach, are new technologies that help load shift, by storing non-peak energy for use during peak demand periods.  What are these promising technologies and how much can they contribute to reducing peak usage from the grid?

This program will feature the following panelists:

  • Robert Horstmeyer, GrowthPoint Technology Partners
  • Matt Jones, Nth Power
  • Janey Kaster, Schneider Electric
  • Tom Stepien, Primus Power
  • Moderator: Travis Gibbs, Nixon Peabody LLP

This program will be held from 8:00 am - 10:00 am at Nixon Peabody, One Embarcadero Center, 18th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94111.  Thanks to our friends at SDForum, readers of Green VC can receive a $5 discount from the non-member registration price for this event.  To receive the discount, please use code "CLEAN05" when registering online.  For more information:
