    Poultry Farm PPA seeking investors
I am associated with a renewable energy company seeking investors for poultry industry projects exclusively on the Delmarva Peninsula. We have at least one project in pre-construction with several more in late stage planning.
Green Energy Design customizes renewable energy systems for home or business, utilizing solar electric, solar thermal, geothermal or wind power technology to decrease current utility bills with “grid-tie” systems. Commercial applications include Power Purchase Agreements to help stabilize current utility costs while significantly reducing the capital required to develop a renewable energy project. A commercial PPA can enable businesses, schools, governments, and utilities to benefit from predictable, renewable energy. The host has the option to purchase the generating equipment from the PPA provider at the end of the term, may renew the contract with different terms, or can request that the equipment be removed.
Green Energy Design often recommends “hybrid” system design, incorporating both wind and solar, in order to take advantage of seasonal peaks of production associated with each system. This will also allow for the maximization of State and Local Grants.
Ryk Lesser graduated with a BFA in Design from California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, CA. Specializing in Architectural Design, Ryk has been doing Design/Build projects for the last 30 years. An increasing number of clients began to request the integration of alternative energy systems into their residential home designs. In October of 2007, Ryk completed training and earned the NABCEP Solar PV Entry Level Certificate of Knowledge, and in June 2008, opened Green Energy Design in Easton, Maryland.
Bill Knopf has been involved with retail and wholesale sales on the Delmarva Peninsula for the past 35 years and in renewable energy sales and design for the past 2 years. Joining Green Energy Design in March 2009, Bill has developed emphasis in designing practical renewable energy applications for the poultry industry and medium size commercial applications.
We currently have several projects in the pre-construction phase, with the choice funding source the only remaining variable. The expected term is from 10 to 13 years, with a 6 to 7% ROI available. These systems also qualify for 5 year accelerated depreciation that can be included in the package. This is a very viable market with a huge customer base waiting for the verified results of an operating system to proceed.
Please contact Ryk or myself for more detail.
