2016 Women in Green Forum to Take Place in Los Angeles on August 31

The 7th Annual Women In Green Forum (WIGF) will convene leaders in the environmental movement, drawing an international audience of sustainability experts including academic researchers, CSR executives, energy analysts, and technology developers.

Silicon Valley Energy Summit is June 25 at Stanford

Stanford University’s Precourt Energy efficiency Center is partnering with Sustainable Silicon Valley to produce Silicon Valley Energy Summit 2015. This event will focus on sustainable energy and feature dynamic speakers, facilitated Conversations for Action on targeted topics, and a Solutions Showcase. Other highlights include

  • Engage with more than 400 leaders from the world's largest IT companies, Silicon Valley startups, investment funds, utilities, government, environmental organizations, and research institutions;

Panel on “Launching A Green Business” to Take Place on December 8 in New York City

The Sustainable Business Committee of the Columbia Business School Alumni Club of New York (CBSACNY) will present a program entitled Launching a Green Business: Making Green From Green on December 8. This program will feature a panel of green entrepreneurs and funders who will share their journeys and provide insights into their inspirations, motivations, setbacks and triumphs.

Moderator:

  • Micah Kotch, Director, NYC ACRE (Accelerator for a Clean and Renewable Economy), an incubator for clean technology and renewable energy start-ups

Inaugural New Energy Capital Summit to Take Place on November 15 in San Francisco (Discount Available)

The inaugural New Energy Capital Summit (NECS) will take place on November 15th in San Francisco. This program is organized by Winston Baker, which produces alternative investment conferences.  In discussing the purpose of this new event, Katherine Winston, Managing Partner of Winston Baker, said:

Clean Energy Connections is November 2nd in Springfield, MA (Includes Free “Opportunity Fair”)

The 4th annual Clean Energy Connections event will take place on November 2nd in Springfield, Massachusetts.  This program is organized by UMass Amherst and will include an Opportunity Fair.  The Opportunity Fair will be a forum to network and access resources relevant for clean energy entrepreneurs and job seekers.  A list of organizations participating in the fair is available here.
